Margaret Grizzle Milstead
October 5, 1972 – May 22, 2025

On Thursday, May 22, 2025, Margaret Grizzle Milstead, aged fifty-two, of Aragon, Georgia, departed this world and stepped into eternity. She was born on October 5, 1972, to Venson Grizzle and Judith Holtsclaw.

Margaret was of Baptist faith; she enjoyed crocheting and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Charles Milstead; her sons Kyle Grizzle, Douglas Barnett, Derek Milstead and Charles Milstead; and her daughters, Barbara Grizzle and Troi Milstead.

Margaret’s joy was multiplied in the radiant smiles and laughter of her grandchildren: Heyven, Addy, Marria, Jr., Dagyn, Macy, Amelia and Phoenyx.

Margaret is also survived by her brother, Jimbo Grizzle. The bond between siblings is a memory that shall always dwell in his heart.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, beginning at 5:00PM till funeral service time at 7:00PM. Services will be held at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home chapel, located at 2750 Shorter Avenue, Rome, Georgia 30165.

Though her earthly voice has been stilled, Margaret’s legacy will echo through the lives of her children, the laughter of her grandchildren, and the stories passed around dinner tables and porches for generations to come.
