In Loving Memory of Mark Allen Lambert
September 27, 1960 – May 15, 2024
Mark Allen Lambert Sr, age 63, departed this life on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, peacefully in sleep at his residence in Trion, Georgia. Mark was born in Rome, GA on September 27, 1960 to James Russell Lambert and the late Cynthia Louise Thacker.
Mark leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his devoted children, a son Mark A Lambert Jr., daughters Jennifer Lynn Lambert (Rome) and Nicole Lambert Roberson (Jimmy) (JBLM, WA). His six precious grandchildren, Logan Coots, Emma Coots, Oliver Roberson, Owen Roberson, Zora Roberson, and Caspian Roberson. Brothers, John ‘Buddy’ Livingston (Atl.), Cary Lambert (WY), David “the Bro” Lambert, and Sister Marty Lambert Redd (TN), Father, James and Step-Mother Shirley Lambert (TN). Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mark attended school in Rome and the Atlanta area; he dedicated his career to the textiles industry, working many years at Integrated Products/Syntec Industries, and Inland Container before accomplishing a lifetime dream of being a truck driver like his father enjoying the exploration of the country through the windshield of his truck. Mark was a diehard Nascar fan, never missing a race, he was also a talented mechanic, and a guitarist who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, his cat ‘puddin’ and his friends.
As per his wishes, Mark’s ashes will be spread in a special location which he shared with his close friend and brother, David “the Bro” Lambert, who he has lived with for some time.
All who knew Mark will greatly miss his kind heart, gentle spirit and adventurous soul. Mark will live on in our hearts and memories, and his spirit will forever remain a source of love and inspiration.
Parnick Jennings Good Shepherd Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements, and they will handle the services requested with the care and compassion that Mark and his family deserve.
