In Loving Memory of Max Wade Stiles

September 4, 1934- June 15, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Max Wade Stiles, age 62, of Rome, Georgia.

Max was a man of many talents, a strong work ethic, and a larger-than-life personality. He spent much of his life as a dedicated truck driver, traveling countless miles while providing for those he loved. Known for his remarkable mechanical abilities, Max could fix just about anything placed in front of him. Whether it was an engine, a piece of equipment, or a problem that seemed impossible to solve, he approached every challenge with confidence and determination.

Beyond his skills as a mechanic, Max had a creative soul. He enjoyed drawing and expressing himself through art, finding joy in bringing ideas to life on paper. He was also a natural storyteller who could captivate a room with his experiences, humor, and unique perspective on life. His love for rock n roll music was a constant soundtrack throughout the years and reflected his free-spirited nature.

Max was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Margie Coleman Stiles and Roosevelt Delbert Stiles.

He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory, including his children, Terry Wade Stiles and Lisa Ann Collins; his stepson, Chris Steven Casey; his grandchildren, Samuel Stiles, Travis Massingill, Heaven Stiles, and Noah Stiles; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, Vance Stiles; his sister, Lavonia Stiles; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Max will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, creative mind, willingness to help others, and the stories that brought laughter and connection to those around him. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
