Melida Anne Smith Weeks, age 82, of Rome passed away Thursday March 31, 2022.
Melida was born on October 31, 1939 in Trion GA., to the late Harry Smith and Wilma Smith. Melida retired from Northwest GA. Regional Hospital.
Survivors include her husband: David Weeks; sons: David Weeks II, Derek Weeks, and Daniel Weeks; grandchildren: Jessica Futral, Allison Watson, Dillon Weeks; brother: Buddy Smith.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday April 5, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, with Rev. Randy Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service hour on Tuesday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen: Gary Vincent, Gary Hester, Glenn Ollis, Dan Futral, Bill Duke, and Logan Watson.
