In Loving Memory of
Melissa Ann Reynolds Trammell "Lisa"
January 13, 1963 - October 27, 2024
Melissa Ann Reynolds Trammell, age 61, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Born on January 13, 1963, to the late Robert Lee and Dorothy Reynolds, Lisa was a bright spirit whose warmth and resilience left an indelible mark on those around her.
Lisa’s journey was enriched by her marriage to her late husband, Joe Pugh, a love story that spanned thirty-three years. Together, they created a blended and beautiful family, facing life’s challenges with a strength born of love and loyalty. Her family was the center of her world, and her legacy lives on in her sons; Brandon Reynolds, Adam Pugh, and Billy Joe Pugh; her daughters Krista Trammell, Nicole Purdie, and Kimberly Bohanan; as well as her mother, Vera Reynolds, who survives her with the tender memories of a beloved daughter; and her siblings, Robert (Bobbie) Reynolds and Kathy Hite, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond and countless family memories. Lisa was preceded in death by her daughter Amber Reynolds.
Lisa's heart found its greatest joy in being “Nana” to her cherished grandchildren: Kelsey Akins, Jaycee Lipsey, Brooke Reynolds, Brixton Reynolds, Gavin Barker, Gabriel Barker, Allen Hutchins, Jaxson Waits, Ronald RJ Waits, Jr., Karson Bohanan, Alyssa Bohanan and 3 loving great-grandchildren. Her love for them was boundless; she delighted in their laughter, celebrated their milestones, and adored the time she spent nurturing each of them.
A woman of rare kindness, Lisa never met a stranger. She had a natural gift for making those around her feel welcomed and loved, often filling her home and her life with laughter. Known for her vivacious spirit and endless capacity for conversation, she could brighten any room with her quick wit and endearing charm. Those who knew her will fondly remember her voice, always filled with warmth and humor.
Beyond her love for family, Lisa had simple joys that made her days brighter. She cherished watching her favorite television shows, Matlock and 7 Little Johnstons,s which brought her comfort and companionship through the years.
Services to honor and celebrate Lisa’s life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, located at 2750 Shorter Avenue, Rome, Georgia. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation at 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 8:00 PM to commemorate the life of a remarkable woman who gave so much to others. Pastor Joey Inechen will be officiating.
