Mr. Ronnie William Bata

Mr. Ronnie William Bata, 78, of Rome, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Service for Mr. Bata will be held at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, 2750 Shorter Ave., Rome, Georgia 30165, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service.  Interment will follow the service at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, 2549 Shorter Ave., Rome, Georgia 30165.

Ronnie William Bata of Rome, died at a local hospital on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, after a long health battle. He worked for Texas A&M University in the Heating and Air Department until moving to Georgia to be closer to family where he continued Heating and Air work until retirement.  He loved hunting, fishing, western movies, and Cops shows.  Ronnie was joined in Holy Matrimony to Jacqueline "Jackie" Collins Bata in 2001.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Stanley and Mary Bata both from Houston, Texas.

He leaves behind his wife, Jackie Collins Bata of Rome; 3 sons, Ronnie (Laura) Bata of Houston Texas, Shane (Danni) Bata, and Shannon (Rebekah) Bata both of Rome; 7 grandchildren, Brette, Wyatt, Brayden, Berlin, Aneka, Van, and Banks Bata; and a host of other relatives, loved one and friends.

Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel has full charge of arrangements.
