Nancy Bryant Obituary

In Memoriam: Nancy Bryant (June 30, 1949 - October 18, 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Bryant, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Nancy was born on June 30, 1949, in Rome, Georgia, to the late Fred Lee and Pearl Bryant. She left this world on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, to be reunited with her parents and cherished family members who preceded her in death: her beloved brothers, Roy Lee Bryant and Charles Hollis Bryant, and her sister-in-law, Eloise Bryant. Nancy is survived by her brothers, David Bryant and Kenneth Bryant, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Nancy's life was a tapestry of love, creativity, and passion. As the only daughter in her family, she was a source of joy and inspiration. Her talent for fashion and fabric was unparalleled, and she put her skills to work for many years at Burton Mills in Shannon, Georgia, where she lovingly crafted beautiful and practical garments. Nancy had an innate connection to fabric, and her creations were a testament to her dedication to her craft.

Nancy's love extended beyond the realm of fashion. She had a heart as soft as her sewing touch, particularly when it came to animals. Her compassion for these creatures knew no bounds, and she often found solace in their company.

Nancy's interests were as diverse as her talents. She had an enduring passion for Old Hollywood, with a special affection for the classic western movies of yesteryears. Yet, no entertainer captured her devotion quite like Elvis Presley. His music and charisma held a special place in her heart, and she could often be found listening to his timeless tunes.

As we bid farewell to Nancy Bryant, we remember a remarkable woman whose creativity and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, and a zest for life that will be cherished forever.
