Nancy L Cantrell

Nancy Lawson Cantrell, 89, of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. She was born in Georgetown, Tennessee on December 16, 1932. She graduated from Model High School in Rome, Georgia, and married Stanley Cantrell in 1953. They raised their children in Marietta, Rockmart, and Rome.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Lawson and Icye Melton as well as her loving husband, Stanley. She is survived by her 3 children Susan (George) Spier, Stan Cantrell, Stacy (Tina) Cantrell; three grandchildren Josh, Justin, and Katie Beth; six great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Nancy was adored by everyone that knew her. Her family and friends were dear to her. She always looked forward to family reunions and family gatherings. She loved cooking and she loved traveling. She always had a smile for everyone she met. She brought joy to so many people.

We will celebrate her life on Saturday, September 24 at 10:30 am in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd. Visitation will be Friday, September 23 from 6:00 until 8:00pm.
