In Loving Memory of Nancy Ruth Arce Glover
December 16, 1956 – March 10, 2024
In the tender embrace of memory, we gather to honor the passage of Nancy Ruth Arce Glover, a luminous soul whose presence graced the southern landscape with an ineffable charm. Born amidst the whispering pines and sweet magnolias of Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia, on December 16, 1956, Nancy's spirit was steeped in the rich tapestry of Southern heritage, a belle of the highest order.
In the ethereal dance of life, Nancy now joins her beloved husband, David Glover, in the eternal waltz, leaving behind a legacy woven with threads of love and resilience. Preceded in departure by her brothers, Phillip and Steve Arce, as well as her sister, Libby Arce, Nancy leaves a poignant absence in the hearts of those who cherished her.
Surviving her passage are her cherished children, David Jeremy Glover and Amanda Faith Glover, a testament to her enduring legacy of love and devotion. In their tender embrace, she finds solace, while her precious grandchildren, Colby Bryce Glover, Logan James Hays, and Rhiannon Alva Glover, shall forever hold her memory aloft like a beacon in the night. Alongside them stands her treasured sister, Brenda Sidewell, a stalwart companion in the journey of life.
Nancy, a veritable titan of the soul, was not merely a self-employed insurance agent but a maestro of the human heart, conducting symphonies of kindness and grace wherever she tread. Her maternal embrace knew no bounds, enfolding her family and friends in the warmth of her affection with a fierceness that belied her genteel demeanor.
A devout Christian, Nancy's faith was not merely a facet of her character but the very bedrock upon which her life was built. Her relationship with Christ was a radiant beacon of hope, illuminating the darkest corners of despair with the light of divine love.
With an irrepressible spirit and a heart as boundless as the Georgia sky, Nancy embraced life with an exuberant enjoyment of life that was as infectious as it was endearing. Her laughter echoed through the halls of memory, a melody of joy that will linger in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family extends an invitation to all who were touched by Nancy's extraordinary grace to join them in celebrating her life during the following services:
The visitation service shall be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Both services will be held at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home chapel.
On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM, Nancy's earthly vessel shall find its final resting place at the Georgia National Veterans Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
