In Loving Memory of Nancy Lou Grantham

October 25, 1949 – March 16, 2025

Nancy Lou Grantham (Ragsdale), age 75, of Rome, GA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on March 16, 2025. Born on October 25, 1949, in Peru, Indiana. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her birth parents, Glenn Luther Dunn and Iuna Farris Dunn, and her adoptive parents, Robert and Ida Ragsdale and her sister Barbara McAmis. She is survived by her devoted children, Tim Babb (Robin), Jaqueline Fincher, and Michael Babb (Diane), as well as her sister, Caroline Booker, her grandchildren, Jesse West, Haleigh Corno, Lance Babb, Jaimeson Babb, and Madeline Babb, along with several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Nancy was a successful business owner of Dr. Clean Cleaning Service for many years in Floyd County. She was a lifelong resident of the Garden Lakes Community. 

Nancy loved her children and spent many countless days and hours teaching them the value of life and how to love and care for others. Some of her best times were spent cooking for her family, making homemade jellies, going to yard sales or second-hand shops to look for treasures. For those who knew her well remember her for the feisty spirit, strong independent, loving person that she was to many.

To honor Nancy's remarkable life the family will hold a Graveside Service at Eastview Cemetery on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00AM. Pastor Joey Ineichen will be officiating.

The family has entrusted Good Shepherd Funeral Home with her final arrangements.
