Nellie Edith Lucas Goble, age 67, of Talking Rock passed away Tuesday July 27, 2021.
Nellie was born on June 11, 1954 in Rome GA.to the late Robert Lucas Jr. and Martha Sue Garrett Lucas. She was a member of Ball Ground United Methodist Church. Nellie retired from the State of Georgia Revenue Department. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Goble, daughter: Donna Misti Kirkland.
Survivors include a grandson: Blake (Kelsey) Puckett; brother: Fred Lucas; sister: Janet Mackey; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday August 2, 2021 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Wallace Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service hour on Monday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome GA. 30165.
