Nicholas Adam Vining

Nicholas Adam Vining, born on December 21, 1981, in Illinois, to Barbara Ann Jonas-Robbins and the late Larry Woodard Vining, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023,

In addition to his mother, Nicholas is survived by his sons Don Stephen Vining and Christian Adam Vining; his daughters Brittany JoAnn Vining and Jesslyn Shy Marshall; and his sisters Bridget Alicia Doyle, Dorcia Hunter, Courtney Little, Thyra Richardson and Desiree Amber Little. He is preceded in death by his father.

Though he never married, Nicholas was an incredibly adoring father, a devoted son, a trusted brother, a compassionate uncle, and a loyal friend.

During the last ten years of his life, Nicholas lived in Cave Springs, GA, and he loved everything about the quaint, old-world feel of the little town. Craving the freedom and adventure of the open road, Nicholas was an avid fan of motorcycles. He had a deep connection to bikes and saw them as more than a machine, they were his passion. Fascinated by the history and evolution of firearms, Nicholas found that collecting guns allowed him to explore and appreciate the craftsmanship, design, and cultural significance of different firearms throughout history. Being a huge lover of the great outdoors, Nicholas was also a fishing and hunting enthusiast. His greatest joy by far, however, was expressed during the times he spent with his dearest family and friends.

The family will hold a visitation on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Both services will be held at Good Shepherd Funeral. Interment will take place at the Cave Springs City Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.  Rev. Jamie Killinger will be officiating.
