Patricia Joan Stillwell
The earthly journey of Patricia Joan Stillwell, 63, came to a close on Thursday, February 13. 2025, as she was called unto eternal rest. Born to the late Louis and Madeline Carter, she was nurtured in love, faith, and quiet strength, her days filled with devotion to family, friends, and the Lord whom she so dearly cherished.
She is now reunited in the heavenly realm with her beloved Michael Baldwin, who preceded her in death, as well as her sister-in-law, Margie Carter. Yet upon this earthly shore, her memory lingers like the light of a steadfast lighthouse, guiding those she leaves behind with the warmth of her love.
To honor and uphold her legacy, she is survived by her devoted sons, Jimmy Darryl Hunter (Candace Hightower) and Aaron Stillwell, as well as stepchildren Shawn Baldwin, Amber Baldwin, and Calley Baldwin. In her grandchildren, Joshua Ely, Jaxon Crowe, Jaiden Stillwell, and Noah Hunter, her spirit finds new dawns, for she adored them with all the tenderness of a heart overflowing with love.
Her brother, Gregory Carter, remains to carry forward the bond of family, along with a host of nieces and nephews who knew her kindness and unwavering affection. Among them are Missy Carter, Dylan Hooper, Derek Hooper, Zane Hooper, Mandy, Cassie, and many others, each a recipient of her gentle care and boundless grace.
In her time upon this earth, Patricia found joy in worship and fellowship, her soul uplifted by the company of loved ones and the sacred peace of faith-based films. She delighted in the presence of her family and grandchildren, treasuring the moments that wove the fabric of her days. Everr was she drawn to the beauty of lighthouses, symbols of hope and guidance, much like the beacon she herself became in the lives of those she touched.
Let all who cherished her gather in reverence and remembrance, as her life is honored in visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. In grief, we find solace, for though she has crossed beyond the veil, her love remains a radiant light, ever unwavering, ever eternal.
Good Shepherd Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
