Perry Vernon Wallace

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Perry Vernon Wallace of Buchanan, Georgia, who peacefully left this world on Sunday, November 5, 2023. He was born on December 3, 1954, in Rome, Georgia, to the loving embrace of his parents, Vernon Dilliard Wallace and Beatrice Grace Smith Wallace, who have preceded him in death.

Mr. Wallace's legacy lives on through the cherished memories he created with those he held dear. He leaves behind a legacy of love and affection that will forever remain in the hearts of his daughters, Julie Nelson, April Parks, and Marci Wallace. His sister, Shirley Jean Smallwood, also mourns his passing.

Mr. Wallace was a man of remarkable kindness and boundless love. His adoration for his daughters knew no bounds, and his affection extended to his nieces and nephews, with a special place in his heart for his nephew, Greg, and his niece, Lisa.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Perry Vernon Wallace will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Calhoun Ave Baptist Church, a place where faith and community intertwined, located at 1021 Calhoun Avenue, Rome, GA 30161.

In this time of loss, let us remember Mr. Perry Vernon Wallace not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the love he shared and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. His memory will forever shine as a beacon of love and kindness in our lives.
