Polly Comer Obituary
Mrs. Polly Pierce Comer, age 83 of Rome passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015 in a Rome Medical Center.
Mrs. Comer was born September 15, 1931, in Floyd County. a daughter of the late George Washington Pierce, and Minnie Lee Sprouce Pierce. She was a member of Sunny Hill Baptist Church, and retired from Floyd Medical Center as ward Secretary. Mrs. Comer was a member of the Fireman's Aux. She was preceded in death by her husband, William comer, brother, Russell Pierce.
Survivors include, her son Phillip Bradley (Deborah) Williams, granddaughters, Lauren (Tracy) Bollen, Laine Williams, great grandson Karson Bradley Davis, sisters, Cleo Harris, Lucille Alexander, Mary Ruth Rutledge, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday June 18, 2015 at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel With Rev. Bobby Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Thursday, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
