Polly Hastings Obituary
Mrs. Polly Jane Manning Hastings, age 73 of Rome passed away Wednesday August 16, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Hastings was born July 27, 1944 in Floyd County a daughter of the late O.D. Manning, Sr. and Pauline Duggan Manning. She was a member of West Rome Christian Church, and was retired from Floyd County School System after over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Manning.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Hastings, son, Michael Hastings, Rome; grandchildren, Michael Wade Hastings, Tony Daniel Hastings, II, Brandon Hastings, brother, O.D. ( Joyce) Manning, Jr. Rome; sister, Sandra Davidson, Rome; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday August 18, 2017 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Friday, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
Pallbearers include the following gentlemen, Michael Wade Hastings, Tony Daniel Hastings, II, Brandon Hastings, Nick Kean, Casey Kean, and Greg Manning.
