Sara Lynn Lary

Sara Lynn Lary, age 70, of 11 Addington Court, Rome, Ga. Passed away May 25, 2024. Lynn as we all knew her was born October 9, 1953 in Union County, Ga. Lynn was the daughter of the late Dick Seabolt and Dorthy Sisum. Early in her life Lynn was a Seamstress by trade where she helped many local families. Later in her career she transitioned into customer service working at McDonalds where she found her home for the last 17 years. Lynn worked hard to provide a loving home for her family and could simply do anything she put her mind to. Outside of her normal career activities, Lynn was well skilled in many trades as she loved the great outdoors. She enjoyed trapping, fishing, camping and ginseng hunting to name a few. Lynn was a great story teller of a much simpler time, where her family lived off grid and grew most of their food. Lynn also loved to work in the garden, read books and watch movies.

Lynn was preceded in death by her sister Vicki Seabolt; Survivors include her husband Edward Randall Lary; daughter Sarah Lea Chastain; son Robert Lee Clay Jr; son in law Bayron Chastain; step daughter April Michelle Lary; grandchildren Brandy Lynn Vonnieda (husband Andrew Vonnieda), Jacob Robert Owen (wife Senia Marie Owen), Tommy James Clay, Kaitlyn Breanna Chastain Elrod (husband Micah Elrod); great grandchildren Jeremiah Lawson Vonnieda, Rhett Haddon Vonnieda, Ann Lee Senia Law, Johnny Brent Law.
