Sunset September 13, 2023
Sarah Lou Morrow Fryer, 64, of Silvercreek, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Born on December 4, 1958, in Douglasville, Georgia, Sarah lived a life full of passion, dedication, and love.
Sarah was known by her loved ones for her unwavering strength and compassion. Her career as a security guard at Coca-Cola was just one demonstration of her character. Sarah's heart, however, truly belonged at home, in her garden surrounded by her cherished flowers, listening to the comforting tunes of old country music or enjoying the simple pleasure of a chocolate milkshake.
An avid supporter of the University of Georgia, Sarah's spirit would come alive every time the Georgia Bulldogs played. Her excitement was infectious, making it clear where her loyalty lay.
Above all, family was Sarah's anchor. The void left by the untimely passing of her son, Christopher Pirkle Fryer, was immense, but her love for her remaining sons - Earnest Lee Fryer, Spencer Kendle Fryer, and Perry Lee Fryer, Jr. - was unwavering. The light of her life was undoubtedly her grandchildren, with whom she forged special bonds, treasuring every moment spent with them.
Sarah is survived by her sons, Earnest Lee Fryer, Spencer Kendle Fryer, and Perry Lee Fryer Jr.; daughters-in-law, Kimber Burger, Maranda Fryer, and Bianca Fryer; her treasured grandchildren, Rayne, Selena, Thomas, Savana, Caleb, Kidell, Dalton, Donna, Susan, Jose, Alex, Melanie, Dabi, Ian, and Leo; her ever-supportive brother, BoBo Morrow; and her caring sister, Janice Jones.
Sarah Lou's legacy will live on in the stories shared, the lessons taught, and the precious memories held by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Sarah Lou Morrow Fryer, a beacon of strength and love, will be deeply missed. Rest in peace. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Sarah's life. Details of the service will be shared in the upcoming days.
