Shirley Ann Shaw

Shirley Ann Shaw, age 69, passed away peacefully on 7/9/2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on 9/25/1955, in Rome, Ga, she was the heart and soul of our family - a woman of grace, strength, and endless love.

She devoted her life to her family, always putting others before herself. Whether it was her warm kitchen, her comforting words, or her steady presence, she created a home where everyone felt safe and loved. She taught us the value of hard work, kindness, and faith, and those lessons will remain with us forever.

She is survived by her 4 children, Jimmy W.
Shaw, Jimmy W. Shaw, Nellie Carter, and Kristie Shaw. 11 Grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her legacy. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her and that her spirit will continue to guide us.

Her life was a beautiful example of love in action. She will be missed beyond words but remembered with deep gratitude and everlasting love.

Services to honor her life will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, following interment at Midway Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. Midway Primitive Baptist Church. Steve Arrington and Drew Brown will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Shaw, Daniel Culberson, Justin Smith, Chris James, Adam Smith, and Patrick James.
