In Loving Memory of Steven Glenn Womack
November 10, 1969 – December 30, 2025
Steven Glenn Womack, of Rome, Georgia, passed from this world on Sunday, December 30, 2025, at the age of fifty-six. He was born on November 10, 1969, in Rome, Georgia, to the late Steve and Zulaine Womack, and from them inherited a steady spirit, shaped by loyalty, perseverance, and quiet strength.
Steven walked his years as a devoted son of his homeland, rooted in faith and family. He was of the Baptist faith, and his life bore the marks of a man who valued constancy, honor, and the bonds that endure beyond time. Those who knew him recognized a heart inclined toward devotion, particularly in the roles he cherished most: father and grandfather.
He is survived by his son, Jordan Womack (Jordan Trammell), and his daughter, Briana Tardy (Phillip), who were the great pride of his life. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Alyssa Womack and Clayton Womack, whose laughter and presence were among his greatest joys. Steven is further survived by his sisters, Susan Womack (Thad Hurley) and Pamela Adams (Jackie), companions of his life’s long journey and keepers of shared memories.
Steven devoted more than ten years of his working life to the Georgia Department of Transportation, serving with diligence and reliability, contributing quietly yet faithfully to the roads and pathways that bind communities together. Away from his labors, he was a die-hard Georgia Bulldogs fan, steadfast in loyalty, carrying the same fierce devotion he gave to family, faith, and work.
More than anything else, Steven loved his family. His affection for his children and grandchildren was deep and abiding, a love that shaped his days and gave meaning to his years. In their lives, his legacy continues, living on through shared stories, enduring values, and the steady presence of love remembered.
Services to honor Steven’s life will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Pastor Aaron Little will officiate.
Steven’s memory remains, like a well-tended hearth fire, warming the hearts of those who loved him and lighting the way for those who carry his name forward.
Good Shepherd Funeral Home is deeply honored to have been entrusted with the arrangements.
