In Loving Memory of Terry Franklin Weeks
July 18, 1958 – September 15, 2025
It was in the heat of July, on the eighteenth day of 1958, that Terry Franklin Weeks came into the world, born to Franklin Weeks and Elizabeth Evans, who gave him his beginning in Georgia soil, a land that remembers its own and holds the names of its children in the red clay and the soft dust of its summers. On Monday, September 15, 2025, at the age of sixty-seven, he left the days of this earth behind, his passing as inevitable and as quiet as the setting of the sun.
He is survived by his Mother; Polly, 3 brother, Jerry, Michael, and Spencer Weeks, who now carries alone the shared remembrances of boyhood, and of mornings and evenings stitched together by kinship, of voices rising in laughter or in silence, of the small, unspoken bonds that endure beyond words.
Terry was a man given to the comfort of familiar rituals, to the steady companionship of memory. The black and white television shows he loved, old stories flickering across a screen, were not merely pastime but a bridge to the past, a return to those evenings when family gathered close, when friends lingered, when the hum of the set was the sound of belonging. In those images he found again the faces and hours of another time, as though by watching he could call back what had already slipped away.
Now he has gone to join those who went before him, and what remains is not absence but the echo of his days, the remembered warmth of his presence, the stories his family will tell in his stead.
Services are entrusted to Good Shepherd Funeral Home, who count it an honor to bear this duty.
