Thurman Blalock Obituary
Thurman Martin Blalock age 87, of Rome passed away Saturday February 22, 2020 in a local Health and Rehab Center.
Mr. Blalock was born October 16, 1932 in Cherokee County Alabama, a son the late Marvin Blalock, and Nora Morris Blalock. He was a retired Brick Mason, and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by sons, Thurman Blalock, Mark Blalock, daughters, Deborah Farris, and Lola Blalock, and several siblings.
Survivors include his children, David Blalock, Daniel Sherman Blalock, Teresa Selman, Angela Boyd, Nora Morrow, Eleanor Treadaway, Jenny Blalock, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday February 27, 2020 at Georgia National Cemetery, in Canton, with Post 5 Honor Guard conducting full military rites.
