In Loving Memory of
Trina Danette Robinson
October 24, 1960 – November 14, 2024
Like the unwavering rhythm of a faithful heart, Trina Danette Robinson graced this world with her presence, her love, and her unshakable spirit. Born on October 24, 1960, to Bobby and Janette Garlin in Lowndes County, Georgia, Trina’s life was a testament to the enduring power of faith, family, and kindness. On November 14, 2024, at the age of 64, Trina departed this earthly home to join her loved ones who had gone before her, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Trina was a woman whose strength was the quiet kind. She possessed the type of passion that held families together through seasons of joy and sorrow. She was the steadfast backbone of her family, a cornerstone of unwavering love and loyalty. She cultivated a home filled with warmth, laughter, and faith, extending her generosity to all who crossed her path. To know Trina was to feel her deep compassion, her giving spirit, and her honesty. She believed in hard work and lived her life as a reflection of that belief, offering her time and energy freely to her family and community.
Trina was a devoted mother to her daughters, Starr Robinson and Dawn Robinson, and the guiding light to her grandchildren: Ashton Spears, Dylan Bragg, Tyler Spears, Logan Bragg, T.J. Baker, B.J. Baker, and Madison Baker and her two great grandkids, Liam Grizzle and Laiklen Mckierman and her very close friends Jr. And Jaree Pitts and Hena Hopper. Her love for them was as boundless as the sky, and her nurturing hand was felt in every milestone and cherished memory they shared.
She is also survived by her loving partner, Richard Galliah; her brothers, Norman Garlin and Timmy Garlin; and her sisters, Nikia Emerson and Cindy Stiles. Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, the legacy she leaves behind is written in the hearts of those who called her sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Trina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timmy Robinson, with whom she shared a bond of love that time could not erode; her cherished daughter, Lacey Robinson; and her brother, Gene Garlin. Trina was a woman of the Baptist faith, finding solace and strength in her relationship with God, which carried her through life’s many trials. We take comfort in knowing she has now been reunited with those she held dear, in a heavenly home filled with peace and joy.
The life of Trina Danette Robinson will be honored on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, located at 2750 Shorter Avenue, Rome, Georgia 30165. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 PM. Pastor Harold Isham will officiate this celebration of her life, a tribute to the precious soul who touched so many lives.
As we bid farewell to Trina, we are reminded of her enduring qualities: her love for everybody, her unwavering loyalty, her honesty, her giving spirit, and the deep affection she inspired in all who knew her. She was, in every sense, a rare and precious treasure, and the epitome of a life well-lived, a soul well-loved.
May Trina’s memory be eternal, and may her spirit continue to guide and inspire us as we carry her love in our hearts.
Arrangements are entrusted to Parnick Jennings Good Shepherd Funeral Home.
