In Loving Memory of William Jefferson “Jeff” Henson, IV
December 21, 1964 – December 30, 2025
William Jefferson “Jeff” Henson, IV, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed from this life on Tuesday , December 30, 2025, at the age of sixty-one. He was born in Rome, Georgia, on December 21, 1964, to the late William “Bill” Henson and Mary “Jane” Ogles, and from his earliest days carried himself with a quiet strength shaped by devotion, labor, and love.
Jeff was a man who understood the sacred beauty of faith and family. A devoted member of the Cartersville Church of Christ, he lived his beliefs not as ornament, but as daily practice, guided by humility, service, and steadfastness of heart. His faith guided his work, his relationships, and the way he moved through the world.
For seventeen years, Jeff was employed with Mohawk Industries, where his dedication and reliability were known and respected. He labored with purpose, finding dignity in honest work and fulfillment in providing for those he loved.
Above all else, Jeff treasured his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tracy Henson, whose companionship was his constant joy; his sons, Dakota “Max” Silver and Cody “CJ” Henson; and his daughters, Catherine “Catie” Henson, Alyssa Henson, and Alexis “Lexi” Henson, each of whom carries forward his legacy of loyalty, warmth, and quiet resolve. He is also survived by his brother, Stephen Henson, and his sister, Lisa Henson Smith. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Todd Henson.
Jeff found his happiest moments in the simple graces of life. He loved spending time with his family, gathering laughter like treasured keepsakes, and he delighted in vacations to Daytona Beach, where the rhythm of the waves offered rest to both body and spirit.
Services will be held on January 5, 2026 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Visitation at 1:00PM until the Funeral Service at 2:00PM. Corey Barnett will be officiating.
Jeff’s memory abides in the lives he shaped, the faith he practiced, and the love he gave freely. His life stands as a quiet testament to devotion well kept and days well lived.
Good Shepherd Funeral Home is honored to have been entrusted with the arrangements.
