William Oliver Love Jr.

Mr. William Oliver Love, age 87, the son of the late William Oliver Love Sr. and Mudie Mae Love passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

William was a native of Rome, GA, he was married to the love of his life Brenda Irene Love, he cherished his wife, kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

William retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He was an avid football fan and of every sport and faithful fan of Georgia Tech. William enjoyed collecting model cars and Movies, he was organized and will catalogue in detail every movie he collected. He had a great sense humor with a taste of some good sarcasm that his daughter proudly says she inherited! He loved traveling, country music and Cajun food.  His family loved him deeply and will greatly miss him!

He was preceded in death by his parents William Oliver Sr. and Mudie Mae Love, his sisters Warleena Love, Nita Adams and Eleanor Stairett.

Survivors include his daughter Kimberly (James) Googe, his son Vincent Love, his granddaughters Shelby Googe and Savannah (Bryant) Powers, his great grandchildren John Tobin, Jack Powers, Lily Ruth Powers and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a graveside service on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 11:00AM at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The Shanklin-Attaway American Legion Post 5 Honor Guard will do the honors for Mr. William Oliver Love.
