In Loving Memory of Willie Algin Crowe, Jr.

Willie Algin Crowe, Jr., age 71, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Born on December 30, 1952, Willie was the cherished son of the late Willie Algin Crowe, Sr. and Myra Ann Vines Crowe, whose love shaped him into the man he became.
Willie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Milly Paulette Ely Crowe, whose companionship brought joy and steadfastness to his life. Also waiting to greet him in eternity are his brother, Ronald Wayne Crowe, and many dear friends and family members who have gone before him.
Willie is survived by his children who carry forward his memory: his son, William Allen Crowe; and his daughters, Laura Leigh Tucker and Amanda Denise Ingram. His grandchildren, include Kevin Tyler Headrick, William Allen Crowe II, Kenneth John Crowe, Mariana Elizabeth Crowe, and Britton Andrew Tucker. He also had two great grandchildren, Allison Johanna Crowe, and Caspin Tyler Headrick. Willie is also survived by his brother, Randy Dale Crowe.
Throughout his life, Willie found joy in simple pleasures and lasting passions. He had a deep love for classic country music, often filling the room with the sounds of his favorite singers. Willie’s heart swelled with pride for his beloved Georgia Bulldogs, rarely missing a game. His love for action movies and comic books connected him with his inner child, keeping alive a sense of adventure and imagination.
Professionally, Willie built a distinguished career in the maintenance industry, including Mohawk Flooring Industries, Trend Mills, and Sarah Lee Bakery before retiring. His hard work and dedication were respected by all who had the pleasure of working alongside him. He was known for his hands-on expertise and his ability to solve any problem that came his way with skill and determination.
Willie's family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate his life and share in honoring his memory during a graveside service on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, located at 2549 Shorter Avenue, Rome, Georgia.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to Parnick Jennings Good Shepherd Funeral Home for their compassionate care and professionalism in helping them through this time.
Though Willie has left this earthly life, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered, as his laughter, warmth, and kindness continue to inspire us all.
