Winnie Keith Obituary
Winnie Azalee Worley Keith, age 83, surrounded by loving family here arose from her mortal body and made that glorious journey to her eternal home in heaven where our Lord Jesus Christ and her parents and siblings who had gone before were waiting with open arms to welcome her . She left this side of heaven at 2:02 P.M., June 3rd, 2015.
She was born in Gordon County, Ga. August 12, 1931, daughter of the late John P. and Annie Samples Worley. she was a life long member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Adairsville, Ga. She was valedictorian of her senior Class. She was a loving wife, mother. She enjoyed crochet, sewing, flowers, gardening, scrabble, crosswords and also writing poetry and adored her grandchildren. She also earned a business degree and worked at Floyd Hospital in admissions and later as a transcriptionist there and at Southeastern Pathology. She was preceded in death by siblings, Willie Mae Lemons, Clara Bell Cochran, Dorsey Worley, Avanelle Hamilton, Mary Camp, Edna Hardy, Roy Worley, Opal Simmons, Barbara King, and Geneva Worley.
She leaves behind her loving husband Richard M. Keith, with whom she would have celebrated 64 years of marriage on June 30th. Myself, her daughter, Brenda Gayle Keith, my daughters, Sara Jessica and Kelli Moria Crawford, her daughter and son in law, Sandra and Rick Gosnold, their daughters, Kerrie and Chris Egbert, Laura and Wes Roberts, Victoria Gosnold, eight great grandchildren, one brother, Donald Worley, in laws , Mary Keith Ross, Geneva K. and Jack Culbertson, Doris and Hobert Keith, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday June 6, 2015, at Parnick Jennings, Sr.'s Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel with Revered Jackie Clayton, officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of the service on Saturday.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
