Mr. Hugh Jerry Lewis

Hugh Jerry Lewis age 66 passed away Tuesday ,February 1, 2022 Jerry was born March 21, 1955. Son of the late Hugh and Agnes Lewis. He attended East Rome High School. Jerry retired from Mohawk Carpets after thirty one years. Since retirement he worked on small engines in his shop at home. He loved fishing on the river anytime he could go. Jerry was a strong man with a big heart. He never met a stranger. He loved and was loved by so many. Survivors are is wife Debbie of 48 years. A son Richard Lewis (Tina), two daughters, Charlene Ramsey (Michael) and Christy Lewis. Seven grand children Heather Strickland, Austin Strickland, Rachel Ramsey, Tasha Shaw, Shawn Lackey, TJ (Samantha) Shaw,. Nine great grandchildren Koda, Ellie, Dakota, Kaydence, McKenzie, Jayden, Kole, Kayson and Kane. Two sisters, Elaine Lynch(Arthur), Peggy Burns (Lamar). Two brothers, Tommy Lewis (Cindy) and Dean Lewis. In keeping with his wishes, Jerry will be cremated and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
